What is gv2twitterAPI?

If you'd like to access your Google Voice account using a twitter client, gv2twitterAPI will allow you to do just that.

What does gv2twitterAPI do?

When you configure your Twitter client to talk to gv2twitterAPI it will talk to the Google Voice website, parse the information requested (SMS messages now, voicemail also in the future), and return the data in a format that looks very much like what Twitter would return. Any client that supports changing the Twitter API URL should work with gv2twitterAPI.

Where is the source?

You can find all of the code hosted on my github account here at gv2twitterAPI. There are a lot of issues that need to be worked out so you'll most likely need to dive into the PHP code when things go wrong. It works for me and I'm pleased, but I'm not a heavy text message user either, so you're mileage may vary.
